Where is the club located?

We are located at 2755 Prince Edward Street, Vancouver, BC, V5T 0A9, at the corner of 12th Avenue and Kingsway, Vancouver, B.C, in the basement of the old Biltmore Hotel. Our phone number is (604) 676-0541. Click here to view map.

 

How can I purchase tickets for shows?

Many different options are available, please refer to events calendar to purchase tickets online through Ticketfly or Songkick. In addition, select show tickets are available from various ticket outlets, Red Cat Records Main St, Red Cat Records Hastings, and Zulu Records. Please note that tickets are subject to various service charges.

 

What is your refund policy?

All sales are final – no refunds or exchanges.

 

What type of payment does The Biltmore Cabaret accept?

Admissions are cash only. The offsales store and bar accepts cash, VISA and MasterCard. The merchandise counter typically only accepts cash. ATMS are located inside the venue.

 

Do I need ID to enter the venue?

In compliance with BC laws, anyone 19 and older who plans on entering the club must show 2 pieces of ID, one with a photo, no matter how old you think you may look. Anyone without proper ID, regardless of age, will be treated as under 19 and denied entry. This policy is strictly enforced and any violation will result in immediate ejection from the venue.

 

Does The Biltmore Cabaret have seats?

Unless a show is advertised as seated, our shows are general admission and standing room. There are booths and a small number of bar stools available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Patrons with special needs should call (604) 676-0541 in advance to make arrangements.

 

What time does the band go on?

The time listed on your ticket and on the purchase page of the website is the door time, not the show time. Set times vary and typically are not announced until the day of the show, and the latest information can be found on our Facebook page and/or Twitter. Please keep in mind that set times, as well as opening acts, are always subject to change without notice.

 

What time should I arrive to get a good spot for the show?

If you’re one of those folks who need to be right up front, then we suggest you be in line before doors open. Keep in mind that no matter how early you line up there may already be people ahead of you in line and you are not guaranteed any particular spots inside.

 

What about drinks?

We have two full bars located within the club offering a terrific selection of draft and bottled beers, along with your favorite spirits and non-alcoholic beverages.

 

Do you have a dress code?

We only insist that you be dressed and wear shoes. Sensible footwear is strongly advised and there are occasionally shows where spiked jewelry and chains will not be allowed. Personal items such as pocketknives, pepper spray, flasks, outside food and drinks or anything that could be considered dangerous or contraband will not be allowed in the building. Purses and bags will be searched prior to entry.

 

Do you have a coat check?

Yes, we do. Please note that all backpacks and skateboards must be checked. No exceptions.

 

Can I smoke in the club?

No. British Columbia has an indoor smoking ban. We offer a smoking area on Kingsway.

 

Are you near public transit?

Yes, we are across the street from the 19 Metrotown/Stanley Park bus stop at Kingsway and 12th Ave. Late night buses also operate, with the last N19 Surrey Central Station/Downtown arriving at approximately 3:00am.

The 3 Main/Downtown and 8 Fraser/Downtown are also very close by. The 8 Fraser/Downtown also runs late, until approximately 3:00am. For further transit information and maps, please visit translink.ca

What about parking?

You may park anywhere, as long as city bylaw permits. If you plan on consuming alcohol, please don’t drive. Our staff will gladly order you a taxi to ensure you arrive home safely.

 

What are your policies regarding photo/video/audio?

Recording policies are at the bands discretion and change night to night. Please contact us prior to the show.

When do you announce new shows?

Most new shows are announced and updated as details are finalized; there is no set day or time of week. Please keep checking our website, Facebook page, or twitter feed.
