iamforest is the electronic project of multi-instrumentalist, singer songwriter, and audio engineer, Luke Forest Hartle. Hailing from Vancouver, Canada. The goal of the project is to bridge the gap between the inhuman perfection that electronic music allows, and the human imperfections that come with analogue instrumentation. The result is a warm, lofi, beat driven style that floats in and out of existing genres, creating the signature sound that is iamforest.

Garnering attention from LA’s KCRW, EARMILK, and BIRP for the first singles off the EP, August 18th, the Bridges EP is set for full release. Working closely with the amazingly talented Benjamin Oman and Kyle Oman of Armory Pacific out of Seattle, Washington, the Bridges EP release will be accompanied by the much anticipated Bridges music video.

Simple Machines
Simple Machines is the solo project of I M U R’s Amine Bouzaher. The Vancouver based multi-instrumentalist and electronic producer combines live-looped guitar, violin, bass and keyboard with sultry, hip-hop influenced beats to create a beautiful aray of soundscapes otherwise impossible without a full ensemble.

From the humble origins of a violin, a classical guitar and a loop pedal, Simple Machines has honed his live execution and aesthetic. Drawing on diverse influences, including IDM and hip hop artists like Bonobo, Fourtet and JDilla as well as live-loop artists like Bink Beats and French Kiwi Juice, Simple Machines fuses live instrumental performance with downtempo, electronic production.
