Lisa LeBlanc’s first album was written in the heart of Rosaireville (her hometown village of 40 people in New Brunswick), in Granby during her studies at l’École nationale de la chanson and in Montreal, where she now lives. She has sold over 80 000 copies of the album (produced by Louis-Jean Cormier of Karkwa fame at Studio Piccolo) since its 2012 Canadian release via Bonsound. In 2013, Tôt ou Tard released the album in France. Lisa LeBlanc’s irresistible charm is the result of her unique musical style that she describes as folk-trash. Her words and music combined make for a light-hearted and touching effect.
