We respectfully acknowledge that Sister Shop is hosted on occupied Indigenous land belonging to the Coast Salish Peoples. This includes the territories of the Musqueam, Skxwú7mesh-ulh, Stó:lo, Tsleil-Waututh and Tswwassen First Nations.

Sister Shop is a community-based clothing and craft sale with 100% of proceeds going towards WAVAW-Rape Crisis Centre.

In addition to to racks of rad vintage clothing to sift through, the event will also feature the musical stylings of local DJs, handmade craftsmen goods, mimosas/caesars/beer, a sweet feminist merchandise table & more!

THE CAUSE: WAVAW-Rape Crisis Centre‘s vision is a world where all women are free from violence. Guided by a feminist anti-oppression philosophy, the organization works to challenge and change thinking, actions, and systems that contribute to violence against women.

They provide all self-identified women who have experienced any form of sexualized violence with support and engage with youth to develop leadership for prevention of future violence. WAVAW operates a 24-hour toll-free crisis line, counseling and Aboriginal programs, and victim services, which includes hospital accompaniments for women who have recently experienced sexual violence.

WAVAW’s services are, and will always remain, free of charge. Funds raised by this event will ensure that women receive the professional, compassionate support they deserve following the trauma of sexual assault.

ACCESSIBILITY: The Bilmore Cabaret has an alternative entrance that is wheelchair accessible. Seating consists of booths and a small number of bar stools available on a first-come-first-serve basis. For any other questions or concerns, please email
